CHRISTMAS IS NEARLY HERE!! Or is it? Ive noticed over the
past few years, people are getting less into the Christmas spirit. Is it a
money issue? Is it too much effort? Or does it seem like a holiday that really isn’t
that important? Whatever the reason, every year it feels like it’s not even Christmas.
So this year, I want to change that. My focus is to show students ways to get into
the Christmas spirit without having to blow the bank and ways to get healthy
after the exam period and to get into shape over the Christmas season.
I know that so many
students are doing trimester three, whether they chose to or not. . I know that
trimester 3 students really can’t be bothered going into Deakin since its meant
to be the summer holidays. And many
other students have moved into accommodation away from home and may not have
that much money to throw around. But that doesn’t mean that the University and
student accommodation can’t get into the Christmas spirit!
This week, my focus is Christmas decorations. They don’t have
to be those expensive baubles, blow up Santas or dancing snowmen. I came up with
an idea that will help you save cash and help the environment too! I made origami
using old papers I don’t need anymore. Old lecture slides, notes and exam
papers. Check out the before and after pictures.
It may not seem like much, but once you make heaps of
origami, your house will look amazing.
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Christmas idea. Remember, Change Is Good! See you next
week!
